It was: awesome!  One of the best books I’ve read in a while. Who doesn’t like attention? Jessica lives with her mom and sister, Anne. Her mom is always crying and making people feel bad that her Dad left her for another woman, Dana. Jessica likes a boy in class who always just uses her sexually and doesn’t care about her emotionally, but she begs on for more because it does get her attention. Meanwhile, she meets a man named Ted, who gives her ALL the attention she wants. Jessica, an aspiring photographer, has a self-portrait due for a contest in 3 months.

She gets lost in her life, with her mother being how she is, her dad and Dana planning on getting married, Anne caring about her mother even if she doesn’t get it back. She has no one to take care for HER and she has no one to make her feel wanted. She tries finding herself, it takes a while but it happens. She ditched her friend Tiffany when she was going through the same thing on being called the school tramp. At the end of the book, she is the strongest. She gets her life together and she meets a boy, Cory, who seems to want to in the future care about her, oh and he’s a photographer too. I like the ending, its very happy… just like I like them.
