Summary: Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging follows the journal of a teenage girl named Georgia Nicolson who battles with love, life and her crazy cat named Angus.

Georgia is growing up in England with her best friend Jas (Jasmine) and the rest of the Ace Gang. Living with her family: Connie Nicolson (Mother), Bob Nicolson (Father), her little sister Libby (Liberty) and her half Scottish half Wild cat Angus is not easy. Georgia falls for a ‘gorgey’ boy named Robbie, referred to by Georgia as The Sex God or SG. After taking snogging lessons, Georgia finally wins Robbie over, although a web of affairs means that not everything goes to plan.

My Review(spoiler-free!): Hello mates. This book and/or diary thingy is the first in the series about Georgia Nicolson; it was fabbity fab fab to read. Seriously, my family looked at me weird more than five times while reading this book. This being the about third time I read Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging I didn’t expect to burst out like I did. On the contrary, I had forgotten how incredible it was. The book is about an English girl going through life. She has problems with friends, family, neighbors, teachers, and boys. Most of the book is sarcastically funny. It ties down where Georgia is almost Robbie (the sex god she’s in love with)’s girlfriend. I can relate to Georgia, she is NOT beautiful, popular, and perfect and is rather completely on a mood roller coaster. One moment she hates her life and doesn’t want to get out her bed and then the next she’s ecstatic about the most silliest things. Awarded a Printz Award, Mrs. Rennison is one truly realistic writer. The whole Brit chick thing makes it even better in my opinion, having to go into the glossary in the back of the book to understand what she is saying at times. It’s easy to read and easy to follow, yet very unpredictable. From Angus (her cat), to Jas (her best friend), to Robbie (the sex god), this is sure to be a very recommended read. Don’t forget there’s eight more books to read after this one!

Fourth book in Georgia Nicolson series. To me, this book was semi-good. They are declining. Maybe it’s because I remember what is gonna happen in the story (I’ve read these before) or I don’t know. But whatever it is, I am finding the story rather whatever.
The storyline went along about Georgia now being the official girlfriend of the Sex God, Robbie. She is very happy. She is ecstatic that now she can see him at his gigs and “show herself off.” The question is… if she is so happy about this then why does she keep kissing Dave the Laugh “accidentally”? She discovers she has a big red bottom (not literally), like Naomi the sex minx kitty. She stops asking herself if to go with Dave or Robbie as she picks Robbie. She doesn’t tell Robbie much and gets jelloid in the knees when she’s around him. Is that how its supposed to be when you’re with your boyfriend? Georgia doesn’t believe so… Mrs. Rennison does give you clues on that she has feelings for Dave (and therefore has the General Horn[read the book to understand]).

Dave the L is still going out with Ellen though. He is only doing so because he feel sorry and terminently breaks up with her. That is when everything goes upside down. Robbie reveals that he isn’t on the path to become a popstar anymore, he is going to Kiwi-a-go-go-land(!) for a year to some ecological thing, leaving Georgia. Very sad, Georgia goes into depression mode. Robbie and her “break up” because of his moving away. Georgia begins to look at things in a different way, maybe God (yes, she still believes in him… not Buddha) did this so she could use her red bottom wisely and have the General or Cosmic Horn proudly. She and Dave kiss a couple more times. She travels to France and sorta likes her French teacher (RED-BOTTOM ALERT!) She is captain of the hockey team (haha Wet Lindsay), but it gets taken away from her when she was trying to cheer Rosie up because her boyfriend (Sven) is leaving to Sweden for a month. More trouble at home with the new kitties, Mutti and Vati are mad at each other for a while, Libby makes things out of tampons. Normal things.

I look forward to reading the next book since I have not read it before. However, I want her to get with Dave… he seems like a very good guy. He’s good looking and she can ACTUALLY speak sense with him. I know Masimo is coming up soon(I read the 6th book) so yeah.
Yummy scrumboes. Very necessary to continue the story. Not horrible.

I liked the installment to the second book (scroll down to see review). Georgia keeps at it. She is now officially going out with the Sex God, Robbie (well not OFFICIALLY, but she’s still “with him”). More about Angus with the minx kitten from across the road, Naomi who is pregnant… it cannot be Angus’ kitties because he got his you-know-what taken care of. Libby sleeping with her parade of animals in Georgia’s bed. The ace gang doing normal funny business with their berets, Jas becoming irritating like always. Robbie’s band is getting signed (in America –Hamburger-a-go-go land) so Georgia says she will get nose reduction done and be famous at backup-dancing.The only exception in this book is that someone comes back… DAVE THE LAUGH! (As you may recall, he was Georgia’s Red Herring to get Robbie.) Throughout the book she keeps saying he is good-looking, etc. She becomes like Naomi and kisses him! Multiple times! Accidentally, in her terms, but still. One problem is that she has a boyfriend (Robbie) and another is that Dave the L is going out with her friend, Ellen. But she can’t help it. She is a nymphowhatsit. Her nunga-nungas keep growing also, and school is the same (with a new hottie French teacher–she really is growing a GREAT big red bottom), all the characters from past books are compiled into a good 3rd book. I can admit I did not laugh quite as much as the second or first(I think the best one), but the story flowed.

Well, another satisfying Georgia Nicolson book. (You may recall I posted up the Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging review like two days ago.) This book was just as funny. I was halfway done during class and I kept laughing and everyone around kept asking what was so funny. Then they thought Georgia was weird, which she is. In this book, she was supposed to go to New Zealand to start a new life (her Vati[Dad] is already there.) She mopes about it during most of the book, mostly because she has just almost trapped the Sex God, Robbie.

At about the middle, the Sex God dumps her because she is too young for him. Georgia turns Buddhist because God doesn’t want to let her have the Sex God. She uses Kool Tan and makes her legs orange, accidentally. Her dad’s shoes get blown off because of the geothermal activity in NZ and her Mutti cancels the trip and Vati comes home. Jas starts going back out with Tom (Robbie’s brother) and Georgia uses the “elastic band theory” and a Red Herring who turns to be Dave the Laugh to get Robbie back. Her plan fails, she gets sat on by the Bummer Twins, and she dumps Dave even though he really liked her. Towards the end, Robbie comes back to her life and tells her that he is rethinking the whole thing about dumping her because she is soon to be fifteen. And that’s where the book leaves off. The next installment is Knocked Out by My Nunga-Nungas. Good book, funny, easy to read… passes time by. READ!
